The church does not have a car park for general use, it is too small. But we are surrounded by car parks! The Royals Car Park is the closest (see Royals car park tariffs here). The Sea Way car park is also right next door (Parking in this car park is free after 6pm, at other times you can see the tariffs here, FYI The Seaway car park is a zone 1A council car park and you can park more cheaply with the Southend Pass, see below).

The cheapest way to park (if you plan to park close to St John's more than once a month) is to use the council’s £10 per month parking deal, which gives you access to the Seaway car park any number of times, so long as your stay is under three hours. Find out more about the Southend Pass here

St John’s has excellent bus links and is located within a stone’s throw of the main Southend bus station. With direct routes covering much of South Essex, We are easily accessible with regular services arriving and departing throughout the day.
