Alpha Course
What is Alpha?
Alpha is a film series with discussion groups to connect with others to explore life and the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly environment. There are 10 sessions (free of charge) which begin with food, continue with a short video on a key topic and then end with time to share and ask questions. Who is it for?
Alpha is for anyone who’s curious and particularly for those who wouldn’t call themselves a Christian but want to find out more. The videos are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
When is the next one?
Alpha will restart at St John’s in September 2024 but don’t worry, there are Alpha courses running at our partner churches. An Evening Alpha is running at St Michael’s, Westcliff and begins on April 23rd at 7pm. Click here to sign up.
